Concrete Blonde- Nothing short of spectacular

Not a lot of places can coordinate such a good vibe & sexy ambience,
carefully prepared gourmet food, and a team of staff who would go up and beyond!

never thought concrete could bring about this level of sophistication!

the entire restaurant is warm and cosy with the open kitchen & fire pit… and do I spot a real furnace?

love their menus!

I also tried Ping Pong that came in an antique goblet

as a table of 4 we decided to go with 2 degustations ‘Le Voyage’ and then some entrees and mains to share:

Hawkesbury River Pencil Squid
Charred chorizo, potato, olive, piquillo pepper, salsa verde

Amuse-bouche? More like parti dans ma bouche!

Iki jime ocean trout
elements of “egg benedict”, quail egg, smoked butter crumbs.
wow it’s been a while since I’ve had quail eggs! mmm…

Clarence river jumbo prawns
with lemongrass marinade, cucumber & pomelo salad,
“nam prik” dipping sauce
a bit of Thai flavour!

Holstein Veal Cheek
slow cooked with celeriac, chestnut, king brown mushroom & sage

& the delicious courses from the degustation menu :
